The smartphones are getting hybrid. Who cares about size? No one infact! Gone are the days when people preferred small and beautiful mobiles phone. Now we want bigger screen size. LG too has jumped into hybrid mobile market by launching it’s new smartphone- Optimus Vu. Is this the answer to Samsung’s Galaxy Note? Looks like South Korea is a house to bigger mobile phones.
LG Optimus Vu comes with 5 inch mega screen like Samsung Galaxy Note with 4:3 aspect ratio display and 1024×768 resolution. It has 1.5GHz dual-core processor. Internal memory is 32 GB which will be good enough to store hundreds of Android apps from Android market. It comes with 2,080mAh battery which is pretty good for long back up. Speaking about OS, it has Android 2.3 Gingerbread version as of now but soon 4.0 ICS will be on its way soon. There’s also a stylus just like Samsung Galaxy Note which is called Rubberdium pen. A QuickClip hotkey that will allows users to conveniently capture screenshots and memos with a single push, support for note-taking and included Polaris Office. It will be 8.5mm thick with an HDMI port, DLNA support and an 8MP camera. Isn’t it’s configuration similar to Samsung Galaxy Note?
It will initially be launched in Korea and than to rest part of world at Mobile World Conference.
